November Teachable Tuesday:Why do Leaves Change Color in the Fall?

Join us this November as we learn why those green leaves of summer are turning to yellow, orange, and even red in the Fall. We’ll discuss plant pigments and then create some fun art using fallen leaves.

Online registration required. Non-members are $5 per participant; Free for members.

Parking is at the Fayette County Library (1821 Heritage Pkwy, Fayetteville, GA 30214) in the back left of the parking lot. There is a flag that marks the entry to the short trail that will lead you up to the nature center.
