Fayetteville Picking Park

The Fayetteville Picking Park has been a staple on the square the 2nd Saturday of the month for many years. Picking circles self-organize around the square, in the old firehouse and courthouse. Participants bring their instruments & voices, and enjoy a day of music, primarily in the bluegrass and americana styles. Restaurants and stores are open on the square. Some bring munchies to share with others. A beginners jam starts at 2 PM and people come and go throughout the day. The event last as long as pickers want to keep pickin'!
