Restoring Hope: A Faith-Led Mission for Suicide Awareness & Prevention
At The House of Zion, we are a church rooted in compassion and committed to healing. Our 3rd Annual Suicide Awareness Brunch is a faith-driven initiative to shine the light of Christ into the darkness of despair by raising awareness, fostering healing, and offering hope to individuals and families affected by suicide.
Mental health challenges touch every community. This reality compels us to act with urgency, love, and faith.
This event serves three core purposes:
1. Awareness: To break the silence surrounding suicide and mental health by providing education, sharing testimonies, and holding open, faith-based conversations that destigmatize suffering.
2. Support & Prevention: To raise funds for crisis intervention, grief counseling, mental health education, and outreach efforts locally and nationally.
3. Hope & Healing: To create safe, prayerful spaces where people can grieve, remember, and find encouragement grounded in the unshakable promises of God.
Through worship, fellowship, and generosity, we gather to be the hands and feet of Jesus—reminding each person that they are seen, loved, and never alone. Together, we declare that life is worth living, and hope is always within reach.
John 1:5 (KJV)
The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
