This fall marks the 80th Anniversary of Alpha Phi Gamma! We are excited to invite everyone to celebrate with us during CMU Homecoming Weekend, October 17–19, 2025. Below are some important details and highlights for the weekend.
Friday, October 17 – Moker March
If you haven’t marched in a while, start stretching those legs! We are hoping for a large turnout of alumni to march with the actives and show the strength of the brotherhood we’ve built over the past 80 years. Be sure to wear your black hoodie—or, if yours has “shrunk” a little too much, email me for the link to order a new one. Let’s fill Fayette with the echoes of M-O-K-E!
We’ll gather on campus in front of McMurry around 7:00 p.m. and line up to march at 8:00 p.m. Please let us know if you need any special accommodations.
Fraternity room will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
After the march, we’ll head down to Mac’s—yes, it’s open again! Friday nights are Karaoke Nights at Mac’s, and Brian may even set out the cornhole boards. Join us for fun, laughter, and maybe some questionable singing. If that’s not your thing, you can also enjoy the casino in Boonville.
Saturday Morning, October 18 – CMU Parade
We’ll be walking in the annual Homecoming Parade. Let’s flood the streets of Fayette with a sea of maroon! Dig out those old sweatshirts or email me if you’d like to order more. Once again, let’s show our numbers and colors proudly. Please let us know if you need any special accommodations. After the parade we will take a picture on the steps by the tower (or somewhere close).
Fraternity room will be open after the parade until about 11:30 or noon.
Saturday Evening, October 18 – 80th Anniversary Dinner
We’ll celebrate our 80th anniversary with a buffet dinner at the Isle of Capri in Boonville.
Happy Hour: 6:00 p.m. Dinner: 7:00 p.m.
Come share memories, rekindle old friendships, and connect with newer alumni and actives.
• Attire for the evening will be business casual.
• Tickets are $60 per person (Spouses and significant others are also invited).
• For those who are able, we kindly ask that you consider purchasing an extra ticket to help cover the cost of dinner for our actives and special guests. You remember how it was to be a poor college student!
• We are also looking for volunteers to share their Moker experience. Old stories, special experiences, and how being a Moker has affected your professional and personal life. Hopefully we can get a volunteer from each decade.
