Autumn is a great time of year to get out foraging in nature. You can find all kinds of tasty natural produce, such as blackberries, sloes, hawthorn berries, nuts and mushrooms.
Wouldn't it be lovely if you could create your own basket for your foraging adventures?
Well, you can by joining our foraging basket willow workshsop at the beautiful Langdon: A Garden for People and Planet, situated in the village of Graveney, nr Faversham.
Willow weaving is a very satisfying and mindful activity and you get to take home a beautiful basket at the end of the day.
Upon arrival at 10am, you will be able to partake in a hot drink and snack before we get settled down to the workshop.
I will give you a brief introduction to willow and then we will get started on our creations.
Hot drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day but you will need to bring your own lunch.
We will finish by 4pm.
We will be working in the cosy Granary, nestled in the stunning nature gardens at Langdon in Graveney.
I hope to see you there!
Please note that willow contains salicylic acid and may cause an allergic reaction if you are allergic to aspirin.
