Doe Derby: SATURDAY, JANUARY 3–FRIDAY, JANUARY 9:
Decrease the deer population and help feed people in our community!
Requirements:
• Doe must be field dressed.
• Doe must be legally tagged.
• MDNR deer harvest must be reported.
• Must contact Kyle Fox at (989) 289-1566 before dropping deer off and include the hunter’s name, harvest date, tag number and a readable picture of the tag. Texting this information is
preferred. Kyle will let you know where to drop deer off at.
There will be no processing fees for participants. We are partnering with Smith and Sons Meat Processing and Heritage Harvest Meat Processing for this event. Venison will be donated to food pantries through the Community Compassion Network and Sportsman’s Against Hunger.
As a finale to the Doe Derby, participants are encouraged to attend the Triple C Event on the evening of Friday, January 9. Participants must be present at this event to be eligible for prizes.
Deer must be checked in by 6:30pm the evening of the Triple C Event and refrigerated storage will be provided on site.

Chili Cookoff participants please bring one crockpot per a household and register by 6:30pm. Fixings will be provided.
