Baobab Sisters
Baobab Sisters

Gruppen består af syv kvinder, der synger sydafrikansk og nordisk vokalmusik. De har eksisteret i 15 år og har samarbejdet med musikere fra Sydafrika og Danmark, og optrådte til Desmond Tutus 80-års fødselsdag.
Baobab Sisters udgav albummet 'Sondela' i 2024 med jazzguitaristen Cameron Ward og saxofonisten Benjamin Koppel. Albummet indeholder sydafrikanske hits og original musik.
En koncert med Baobab Sisters byder på både sydafrikanske og nordiske sange, fra historiske numre til jazz og pophits.
