We’re thrilled to share that our Scarecrow Trail is returning this October Half Term! Thank you for helping make previous years such a success — we’d love for you to join in the fun once again this year.
The Scarecrow trail is a fantastic local event and raises lots of money for St Marks so please join us again this year to make and display your own Scarecrow in your front gardens ready for local families to follow the Scarecrow trail and vote for their favourite.
Please be mindful that young children will be following the trail so no scary scarecrows please!
Scarecrow entries cost £5 and will close on Friday 17th October (to give the PTA time to produce the trail map). You can enter a scarecrow by completing this short form here:

Trail maps costing £2 each will be on sale in the playground from Wednesday 22nd October. They will also be on sale from Osbornes Estate agents throughout half-term. Remember to hand them back in, to school or Osbornes, once you've enjoyed the trail to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
Every scarecrow entered into the trail will receive a prize, and there’s even more to look forward to! A Grand Prize will be awarded to the winning scarecrow, chosen by families following the trail. Plus, everyone who completes the trail will be entered into a special prize draw, with one lucky winner picked at random by Mrs Wright. 🏆 All prize winners will be announced before mid-November.
