The proposed route is Farnborough to Ceasefire Cafe in Yapton. However if the cafe isn’t open for some reason, we can ride on to Littlehampton for lunch.
The ride is approximately 55 miles, each way and will be ridden at a gentle pace suitable for the road and weather conditions.
I will make a final call on the smaller single track roads as to whether to proceed so the route will be fluid.
We will start the route from Costa Coffee in Farnborough GU14 6FG meeting at 09:30 and departing around 10:00.
The first section of the ride for about 5 miles will be slow until we clear Church Cookham then through some open roads to Liphook, joining the A272 through Midhurst, Selham, Sutton though to Yapton.
The travelling time is about 1 hour 20 minutes, so there are no planned coffee breaks.
I will make a group decision to either run the route backwards or follow the A284 and pick up the A283 to Guildford.
Total ride time is about 3 hours depending on road conditions.
Please ensure you arrive with a full tank of fuel for the first leg to the cafe, we will have a fuel stop on the return leg.
If someone is willing to be a back marker, it would be much appreciated, if not we will use the buddy system.
