How does the Economy work?

Understanding how the Economy functions has profound benefits, one of which is that you are able to participate in social discussions and make sense of the news logically. It allows you to think independently rather than repeat words you read in the newspaper.

As adults of a developed nation it is our responsibility to keep ourselves ahead of the curve and remain fully informed. The content we will cover in this session is usually covered by A-level students and most of the students who have taken tutoring from us are confident to take part in live Economic debates. If an 18 years old could do this, the rest of us must also update ourselves for the modern times.



First half:
We will cover the basic concepts and Economic theories such as The Circular Flow of Income, GDP, Macroeconomic objectives, conflicts.

Second half:
Discussion based where we will use the knowledge learnt earlier and apply it to real life, for example why UK is struggling economically and what are the rescue options?
