PipeScreams! 2025

Join us in the 34th annual PipeScreams! This wild, family-friendly Halloween organ concert features Greater Hartford AGO chapter members of all ages, sharing diverse repertoire from Bach to film soundtracks, combined with zany theatrical bits and special effects, in a fully-decorated sanctuary. Every year, hundreds of people come out to hear live organ music at this seasonal spectacle, which introduces the instrument to countless concertgoers of all ages who have, in many cases, never previously attended an organ recital! The program begins with festive treats and ghost stories told around an outside bonfire followed by an hour-long concert that includes all sorts of audience participation and not-too-spooky fun for attendees of all ages. Costumes are strongly encouraged!
