Mahkato Wacipi Bus Tour

Join RCHS and FiftyNorth as we travel to Mankato for the 53rd Annual Wacipi, or Pow Wow! Hosted by the Mahkato Mdewakanton Association, the goal of the Wacipi is to honor Dakota traditions and ancestors, to build bridges between all nations, and share Dakota culture. This is a great opportunity for attendees to learn, see, and experience Dakota Culture from the Dakota themselves. There will be classes, dances, shops, and traditional Dakota food. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash for the shops and food vendors.This bus tour will leave around 9am and arrive in Mankato at about 11am. On the way back, we plan to stop at the Mankato Pizza ranch for dinner, this cost is included in your ticket. So come along with us to the Wacipi and discover what makes Dakota culture so wonderful!Tickets are $70 and include the cost of dinner. Seats are limited. We hope to have you join us!
