The Chamber's Annual Celebration: Celebrating Leadership, Service and Community Impact
Join hundreds of business and community leaders for The Chamber’s Annual Celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Delta by Marriott in Fargo, N.D. In an uplifting afternoon that blends reflection, recognition and inspiration, we’ll celebrate the impact our members and volunteers have made over the past year, share what’s ahead for The Chamber and our region, and honor those who continue to shape the future.
At the heart of the program, we will present the 2025 Legacy Leader Award to Jeffry J. Volk, a business and civic leader whose career and service have left a lasting mark on our community. Through storytelling, we’ll highlight Jeffry’s decades of leadership — from growing one of the region’s most respected engineering firms to showing up as a servant leader in countless civic organizations.
This year’s event will also shine a spotlight on the launch of The Chamber’s Center for Civic Engagement, a bold initiative designed to spark greater involvement and collaboration across the region.
Expect an afternoon of reflection on our region’s accomplishments, recognition of those who make progress possible and inspiration from the difference one person can make when purpose guides every decision.
About the 2025 Legacy Leader Award Recipient, Jeffry J. Volk
A civil engineering graduate of North Dakota State University, Jeffry dedicated his career to Moore Engineering and later Moore Holding Company (now Vistal). As President and CEO, he guided the firm’s growth into one of the region’s most respected employee-owned companies, modeling long-term community investment along the way.
Jeffry’s impact reaches far beyond business. He has served in leadership roles with organizations including the Greater Fargo Moorhead EDC, the NDSU Foundation, Jeremiah Program, Boy Scouts of America and The Chamber itself. Alongside his wife Jeanie, Jeffry has also supported future generations through endowed scholarships at NDSU.
Through it all, Jeffry has consistently shown up for his employees, industry and community. His legacy is a testament to the lasting difference one leader can make when service is rooted in purpose.
