StartupBREW Fargo is a weekly networking event in Fargo held at Broadway Square on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM. Join us on Wednesday to hear from Kristin R. Di Bona, CEO and co-founder of Wyonics, and Chad Ulven, co-founder of Dark Horse Technology.
Wyonics is a scientific innovation company based in Laramie, Wyoming, focused on developing sustainable technologies across chemical, biological, and materials science fields. Their work includes projects like critical material recovery, biodegradable filtration materials, and advanced instrumentation for micro- and nano-scale applications. Through research, collaboration, and a commitment to innovation, Wyonics aims to create impactful solutions for Wyoming and beyond.
Dark Horse Technology (DHT), composed of a board certified foot and ankle surgeon and engineers from North Dakota State University, have developed an improved TAR design (i.e. Bison TAR) that is a radical departure from current TARs available. The Bison TAR features an inverted design which results in a better distribution of load leading to lower stress concentrations in the joint. In addition, the mode of assembly and ease of implantation offers several other benefits to surgeons and their patients.
At the core, this event will place an emphasis on connection in the program by limiting individual speaking time and increasing conversation. This is practiced through Coffee Club, a time to connect before the event, as well as a 20-minute Q+A session with the audience towards the end of the program.
Schedule:
8:00 AM – Coffee Club (time to drink coffee and connect)
8:30 AM – Program Begins
9:15 AM – Program Ends
Location:
Broadway Square
