2025 Auditions: The Classic Nutcracker
Don't miss being part of the holiday MAGIC of The Classic Nutcracker. We welcome ALL area dancers ages 6 through adult to audition. All experience levels welcome.
AUDITION INFORMATION
Sunday, September 7, 2025
Gasper's School of Dance (home of the FMBallet)
524 7th St N, Fargo, ND 58102
• 1:00pm - 2:00pm: Ages 6 - 8
• 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Ages 9 - 12
• 3:00pm - 4:00pm: Dancers en Pointe
• 4:00pm - 5:00pm: Ages 13 - Adult
• 5:00pm - 6:00pm: CALLBACKS
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Please bring the following items with you. This is required to be considered for casting.
1. You must sign-up for the audition
2. You must submit the online Audition Form OR bring a Dance Resumer, Conflict sheet and headshot to the audition
• Audition Form or Dance Resume (including a Headshot)
• Headshot
• Conflict Sheet
• Audition Attire
Females Attire
• Black Leotard
• Black Skirt (optional)
• Pink or Skin Tone Tights
• Pink or Skin Tone ballet slippers
• Pointe Shoes (for the Pointe Audition)
• Hair must be pulled back in a clean and neat ballet bun
• Short hair should be pulled back as best as possible (if needed) and out of the face.
Males Attire
• Black athletic pants or ballet tights
• Black or White solid t-shirt or tank top
• Black or Grey Unitard or biketard, okay
• Black, white or skin tone ballet slippers or jazz shoes
• Long hair should be pulled back and out of your face.
PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
Dress Rehearsal:
• Monday, December 15 - Wednesday, December 17, 2025 | NDSU Challey Hall (fka Festival Concert Hall)
Performances:
• Thursday, December 18 - Sunday, December 21, 2025 | NDUS Challey Hall (fka Festival Concert Hall)
Those auditioning must be committed to the production and the rehearsals we have scheduled (rehearsal schedules come out around 2 weeks prior to them taking place).
