Stroke Clinic & Break and Jump workshop

STROKE CLINIC AND BREAK AND JUMP WORKSHOP: Join us on Saturday Sept 6 at Rack ‘Em Up Billiards in Fall river Ma. . We will be holding a Stroke clinic from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and a Breaking and jump workshop from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. All classes are taught by PBIA Certified Instructors. STROKE CLINIC- we will be reviewing the fundamentals of stroke mechanics including stance, grip, bridges and aiming systems. This is a must class for players of all skill levels. Breaking and Jump Workshop- We will be looking at breaking techniques as well as racking with the template rack, and issues specific to racking and breaking in 9-ball, 8-ball, and 10-ball. We will discuss breaking under different rule sets and explain what you can and can’t do in the APA, the USAPL and all WPA rule sets. Then we will show you how to do it. Bring a jump cue if you have one. It is expected that everyone will be able to jump a full ball by the end of the class. All break shots and Jump shot practice will be performed with a cloth/break-pad to protect the tables . Both classes are free and open to everyone, regardless of skill level, league affiliation, age, or experience. All participants must pre-register with Russ Moniz or Roy Pastor to ensure a spot in the class.
