February 22, 2026 Junior Space Science Investigator
- Join us at Battleship Cove as we venture through our Solar System and beyond, and see that space is even bigger than you may have imagined. Girl Scouts will learn about our Solar System and the distance between planets. Additionally, because the planets are never alone in the night sky, Girl Scouts will learn about the stars above them and how sailors used the stars throughout the last centuries to navigate at night. Open to Juniors. Junior: Space Science Investigator Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. March 8, 2026 Cadette Comic Artist & Finding Common Ground
- Join us at Battleship Cove as we combine the world of comics and the world of democracy into one worship! Girl Scouts will learn about what makes each person special and different and how they can use their differences to tell a story. Just like Wonder Woman and Captain America, everyone has a conflict they must face and resolve. Girl Scouts will work as a team and create a story board comic book strip that would have been used in a magazine, newspaper, etc. and discuss with one another how they would have incorporated major life events into their artistic work. Open to Cadettes. Cadette: Comic Artist and Find the Common Ground Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. March 22, 2026 Daisy Craft & Tinker and Mechanical Engineering Model Car
- Join us at Battleship Cove as we race through the history of automobiles and how they function. Furthermore, Girl Scouts will learn about how different surfaces can impact their design. - Join us at Battleship Cove as we learn about the history of board games and what it takes to create your own. Did you know that Battleship Cove can have upwards of 500 people visit us in a single day? Do you think you have what it takes to create a new game that can be used for one of our various education programs and engage the public to further explore our museum? Open to Brownies. April 26, 2026 Junior Detective and Playing the Past
- Join us at Battleship Cove as we combine the past and sleuthing into one workshop! Girl Scouts will learn about the fundamentals of becoming a detective and solve the “crime” that has taken place on the Battleship. But before the Girl Scouts can solve the mystery, they must become one with the time period and transform themselves into detectives from the 1940s! Open to Juniors. - Join us at Battleship Cove as we use our investigative minds to take on the role of a special agent. Girl Scouts will learn about the fundamentals of becoming a special agent and how that can involve psychology, law, and science to solve crimes. A visit to the Battleship that sounds fun and normal, comes to an abrupt halt when the Girl Scouts find themselves in the middle of a heist. Using their investigative skills, finding the clues, and interrogating staff, can they solve the crime and find what has been taken? Open to Cadettes. Cadette: Special Agent Badge included.
