Join historian, wood carver, painter, singer, musician and writer Bob Antone for an evening of music and storytelling.
Since he was child, Bob has collected stories, music and oral histories from his grandparents and other senior members of the the Snoqualmie Valley community. In addition to painting and carving, he writes original compositions on violin, banjo, guitar, voice and musical saw. From his grandfather's hobo train hopping days and living in camps along the Snoqualmie River during the 1930s to recent true crime and unexplained mysteries, the performance will cover a wide range of cultural expressions unique to the area.
Bob's storytelling and music comes from the logging and timber community culture of yesteryear.
Songs about Bigfoot, UfO's over Mount Si, ghosts haunting the Iron Duck in North Bend and the illustrious zebra escape of 2024!
This is an all ages event. Please bring children, grandparents and family of all kinds for an evening of laughter and old time fun!
Doors open at 630pm, music starts at 7pm.
See you in the trees!
