Gordon Munding's "Slide of Hand" Roots & Blues Show is Back w/ sg John Culligan!

Yes, the "Slide of Hand" Band is back with it's monthly show at Fairport Bside! I've had a five year run playing there on FIRST THURSDAYS with these amazing musicians I get to play with. Levon Jones on skins, Greg Franklin on bass, and more recently Lee Kaminsky on lead guitar and vocals. (Lee will be on vacation this month)
As our loyal audience will testify, playing this spicy gumbo of original and familiar music with these cats is synergistic in its authenticity featuring special guests!
This month's special guest is a 60's and 70's folk troubadour John Culligan! John is an unassuming low key kind of guy, you'd never know that for years he played professionally in a comedy duo, along with other gigs which included being on the road with Jimmy Buffet for a spell. John doesn't record CDs these days, and you won't see his gig lists on facebook. But he comes out once in a while.
Like Thursday Dec 4th, where you will see an entertaining set mixing John's deadpan humor with his familiar yet not overplayed songs from the 60's and 70's.
The Slide of Hand Band will provide some backup, along with its always surprising finale for the night!
