West Genesee Marching Band Community Preview

Come to a free preview of what our 2025 Wildcat Marching band is working on this year. The performance will take place at 8pm on the high school turf field.

The West Genesee Marching Band is turning up the heat this fall with its 2025 field show, “Viva La Carmen”—a bold, passionate take on Georges Bizet’s timeless opera.

West Genesee delivers a production full of intensity, drama, and Spanish flair. Under the direction of Kevin Dimmel and drum majors Landon Derbyshire & Anna Borsz, the band weaves together powerful music and striking visuals to bring the story of Carmen to life on the field.

West Genesee has built a strong tradition of excellence at both the state and national levels, and “Viva La Carmen” continues that legacy with style. It’s not just a performance—it’s an experience you won’t soon forget.

**While the show is free, there will be a bake sale going on, and tshirts for sale…so bring some cash along if you think you might want to purchase something to support our kids. See you then!
