Monsters of the Mountain State: Fact or Folklore?

The Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center is hosting Fairmont State University's debate team meeting on Monday, October 27th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Folklife Center.

This event considers the validity of the existence of cryptids in Appalachia, whether or not they are fact of life or a fictional attaché that tries to explain misunderstood events that shape a community's identity.

This event is free and open to the public. The Folklife Center has an elevator. Folks needing accommodation, close parking, etc., please call 304-367-4403.
