Create a Handmade Journal from Discarded Books

Joleen Emery will teach how to transform old books into personalized traveler’s notebooks. Participants will learn step-by-step techniques—reinforcing and covering the book, sewing signatures, adding fabric, setting eyelets, and creating decorative closures. By the end, you’ll leave with a unique, handmade notebook that reflects your creativity. Perfect for both seasoned crafters and beginners, this workshop blends artistry with sustainability.
