Curious about seaweed? It’s not just for the ocean—it's amazing for your health and your garden.

🌿 Fun fact: brown seaweed actually turns green when cooked.
Seaweeds are some of the most mineral-rich vegetables on the planet, drawing nutrients straight from the sea.

They’re packed with iodine, calcium, iron, manganese, potassium, vitamins A and C, protein, fibre, antioxidants—and they even help support hormone balance.

The Ku-ring-gai group is heading to beautiful Dee Why Beach for a seaweed-harvesting excursion and a relaxed picnic. Everyone is welcome to join this hands-on, nature-filled day out.
