BEACH DRUMMING CIRCLE 🏝️🪘
A living Epicure community series
Led by Matej (@zdrumuj), these beach circles invite our tribe to connect through live rhythm, hands-on drumming, and shared presence — held during a relaxed afternoon by the ocean.
This is a free, self-catered community event.
We provide shelter and rugs — you bring what you need.
We drum rain or shine!
BYO:
• Drum (or other instrument)
• Chair / blanket / something to sit on
• Food, water & drinks
• Swimmers & towel
• Children, parents & families are welcome
While this is a free gathering, we also offer donation tickets to help keep the series alive — covering firewood, drum maintenance, and shared equipment so these events can continue into the future.
About Matej
Matej has been part of Epicure since early 2025, inspiring many in our tribe to pick up their own drums and reconnect with rhythm in a deeply personal way. His presence brings grounding, openness, and unity to every circle.
We respectfully acknowledge the Aboriginal custodians of this land and honour their deep connection to rhythm, song, and gathering.

Community Agreements & Safety
We aim to hold the space as safely and respectfully as possible. Please note this is a public outdoor space, and passers-by may naturally stop and join the jam.
If you notice anything unsafe, uncomfortable, or any unwanted or intoxicated behaviour, please notify the organisers immediately. We appreciate your awareness and support in keeping the container clear and respectful.
Epicure tribe gatherings are about creating clear, conscious experiences — free from alcohol and drugs — so we can meet each other in the highest consciousness we have as humans.
If you bring friends without booking, it is your responsibility to ensure they understand and agree to our community agreements:
• No alcohol
• No drugs (including marijuana, mushrooms, etc.)
• No smoking within the circle
• Respect the space, the people, and the land
• Leave no trace — please take all rubbish with you

Exact location will be sent to you once booked in.
Volunteers Welcome
We’d love support from anyone able to arrive early (around 3PM) and/or stay through pack-up to help with lifting and carrying the equipment over the sand.
If you’re happy to lend a hand, please let one of the organisers know via responding to this event or on socials — it’s deeply appreciated.
