This Sunday, October 5th at 12:00pm, bring your pet to the front of St. Mary's Parish [440 Main Street, Fairhaven, MA] to be blessed.
All pets must be on a leash or in a pet carrier. If your pet is unable to travel, you may bring a photo of your pet to be blessed.
All pets are welcome! In the past, not only have dogs and cats attended, but there have also been birds, rabbits, turtles, hamsters, ferrets and reptiles.
We all need blessings. Even our pets, who are members of our families, also need blessings.

Heavenly Father, in Your wisdom, You created all living creatures and blessed us with our pets, who are our friends and bring us joy.
We thank You for the companionship they provide, and we ask for Your blessing on our pet.
May they continue to be a source of joy and remind us of Your power and love for all Your creatures.
Enlighten our minds to care for them with kindness, and to trust You with our lives as they trust us with theirs.
Grant this through Christ our Lord.
