Wayne County Does for Dough

The Wayne County Farm Bureau is pleased to support our members who aid in the management of the overpopulated deer herd in the county. A “Does for Dough” program offers members the opportunity for a $25.00 cash award for each legally killed doe they harvest.

Beginning October 1st, members can bring in a photo of the filled antlerless tag with the IDNR harvest report confirmation number to the Wayne County Farm Bureau office during regular business hours, Tuesday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The IDNR license and confirmation number will be retained with our records.

Individuals must be a member in good standing in the Wayne County Farm Bureau. Only Wayne County, Illinois tags will be eligible. The collection and payout period will conclude on January 18, 2026 or until budgeted funds have been expended.

All does must be harvested in accordance with the Illinois hunting laws and regulations. Please refer to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources 2025-2026 Hunting & Trapping Digest for relevant regulations.
