Are you a plant lover who wants to connect with other gardening enthusiasts in our area?
Do you have perennials that need to be divided? Join us for the 1st annual perennial plant swap where you can expand your garden with new plants and learn how to care for perennials.
How it works:
Bring one or more perennial plants. Some examples include the following:
Flowers: Black Eye Susan, Columbine, Etc.
Bulbs: Tulips, Iris, Etc.
Herbs: Chives, Oregano, Etc.
Strawberries, Rhubarb
Take a moment and divide from your garden and exchange for other perennials that someone else has brought.
Don’t have perennial plants from your garden to divide, no problem. You can still come learn about the perennials on hand and take one home.
Bring healthy perennials in a nursery pot or a sturdy bag to be exchanged.
Label plants if known by name, size, sun/shade, bloom time, and height. If you are unsure, we can help to label at the swap.
Gardeners will share about the perennials available, so everyone is educated on care.
Bring cardboard boxes, flats, or bags to take your new perennials home in.
Cost is Free!
