The Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association presents: 'Fall is Here' — a visual arts exhibit showcasing original artwork created by its members.

(The Gallery is located at 1350 Travis Blvd, D-8, Fairfield, CA, inside the Solano Town Center on the second floor outside of Macy’s, next to the AT&T Store.)

Our Featured Artist is Steve Hartley. Steve has over 40 years of experience in event and portrait photography. Hartley believes photography enhances observational skills and invites viewers to appreciate life's fleeting moments. You can view more of his work on his website: (

Spotlight Artist:
Our Spotlight Artist is Maura Torkildson. Maura is an artist who enjoys working with beads and fabric. She decided to pursue art at age 10 and joined the(Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association after discovering the Gallery while visiting a store at the mall.
Opening Reception & Poetry Reading:
On Saturday, October 18, the Solano Town Center Gallery will hold a reception from 3 – 6pm. Meet our featured and spotlight artists, Steve Hartley and Maura Torkildson and hear them speak about their art display.
Fairfield Poet Laureate Emerita, Suzanne Bruce, and a group of poets will visit the Gallery and create poems inspired by their favorite pieces of art from this show. During the reception, the poets will recite their poems in front of the artwork. We will be serving appetizers and wine from our sponsor, BackRoad Vines Winery.
