Geode, Fondant Cake Decorating Class

About this class:

Join Steph from Sweet Little Morsels, for an exclusive hands-on class where you will learn to cover a real cake with fondant and transform it into a stunning geode cake. Throughout this course, Steph will guide you through essential techniques, including fondant marbling, cake carving, painting with gold luster, and applying gold leaf accents. You'll also receive helpful tips and troubleshooting advice to master common challenges encountered when working with fondant.

This class is perfect for beginners or bakers looking to improve their fondant skills while creating a beautiful new cake design.

Please note: This class will not include working with or making gumpaste flowers.

What’s Included:

• All tools and materials needed for decorating your cake will be provided for use during the class.
• Each student will take home their finished cake in a provided box.
• Students will also receive a 5% discount on all purchases made at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies on the day of the class.

Meet Your Instructor:

Steph Lawshe has always loved to bake, but her passion for cake decorating didn't start until she made a wedding cake for her sister 8 years ago. It was one of her most rewarding experiences and she hasn't stopped decorating since! She enjoys sharing her skills and passion for cake decorating and loves to inspire her students to achieve new levels of creativity and expertise!

All The Details:

• Age Level: 16+
• Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
• Class requires a minimum of 2 students and there is a maximum of 6 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 3 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
