Step Into the Spotlight with the Southside Theatre Guild Sidekicks (Adult Improv Team)!

Are you ready to grow as a performer, sharpen your instincts, and be part of a fearless, creative team? The Southside Sidekicks are looking for 8 to 12 talented individuals to join our adult improv troupe for the 2024–2025 season.
Improv is more than just comedy—it's a craft that builds confidence, collaboration, adaptability, and trust. It's about thinking on your feet, listening actively, and lifting up your scene partners. Each performance is a new story, made up in the moment—no script, no safety net—just shared creativity and bold choices.
This isn’t an improv class or a place to start from scratch. We're looking for players who already understand the basics of performance improv and are ready to create, refine, and support in a fast-moving, team-focused environment. If you’re still new to the form, we recommend attending our August workshop to get started.
For those ready to jump in: bring your experience, your instincts, and your willingness to fail gloriously—and learn from it. That’s the real magic of improv.

We’re looking to add a few crew members to support the Sidekicks behind the scenes. If you have experience or interest in stage management, tech booth operation, hosting, concessions, or cleaning, please make note of it on your audition form.
