Meet at the Pearl’s Fen parking lot on Byron road at 11:30 am. From there we’ll carpool to the parking lot for the James P Amon Biodiversity Reserve (JABR) to start our hike. We’ll hike through JABR, continue along the Beaver Creek to Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, hike over to and go all the way through Fairborn Community Park, through Cemex Reserve, up to and through Oakes Quarry, and finally return to our cars and finish at Pearl’s Fen (we’ll need 1-2 volunteers to drive the original carpool drivers back to their cars at JABR.)
Dress for the weather! Bring water bottle(s) and pack a lunch to eat along the trail.
Plan to be back at Pearl’s Fen parking lot by 3:30pm.
