Welcome to the inaugural Rockfish River Rumble, a new gravel race in Albemarle and Nelson counties south of Charlottesville, Virginia! The event consists of two routes through rarely ridden gravel and paved roads, including access to private roads by special permission of property owners. This is a challenging, yet beautiful course, with a cash purse for the men’s, women’s, and nonbinary open categories in the long race.
This event is organized by the Charlottesville Racing Club to fundraise for our youth mountain bike team in collaboration with our host, Wood Ridge Farm Brewery.
