Breathwork, in various forms, has been a healing modality for thousands of years. This particular three-part pranayama style of breathwork is a form of active meditation that helps release the grip of the conscious mind and allows access to the wisdom of the body and subconscious mind.
Emotions, energy, and trauma that are stored in the physical tissues of the body can be released somatically without the need to cognitively process them. Participants are held in a strong energetic container with the support of shamanic tools and an intentionally curated musical soundscape.
During the active breathwork, you will be invited to go at your own pace and will be supported to dive as deep as you are ready to go.
Some of the benefits of breathwork include reducing stress and anxiety, nervous system regulation, increased access to creativity, cultivating compassion and self love, and experiencing extra-ordinary states of consciousness.
We will begin with a grounding meditation, intention setting, and gentle movement to start moving energy through the spine. The active breathing portion will be done lying down, so please bring what you need to be comfortable. We will conclude with a sound bath for deep relaxation and integration to maximize the benefits of the breathwork.
We recommend bringing water, a blanket, and dressing in layers as body temperature can fluctuate during breathwork.
Payment can be made via credit card or bringing cash to the event. Your registration guarantees your spot. Please register no less than 24 hours before the start of the workshop.
