Rock Climbing at Hobbs Peak

Join Veterans Exploration Therapy (VET) for an empowering and exciting day of rock climbing at the beautiful Hobbs Peak in Conifer, Colorado! This event is designed to bring veterans together in a supportive environment to challenge themselves, build camaraderie, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Whether you're a seasoned climber or have never touched a rock face before, our experienced and certified instructors will be there to guide you every step of the way. We will focus on safety, fundamental climbing techniques, and ensuring everyone has a positive and rewarding experience.

This is more than just climbing; it's an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans, push your personal boundaries, and create lasting memories. All technical climbing gear (harnesses, helmets, shoes, etc.) will be provided.

To ensure you have a safe and comfortable day, please come prepared with the following:

• Backpack: To carry all your personal items.
• Water: At least two filled water bottles (2 liters total recommended).
• Food: A packed lunch and any snacks you'll want for the day.
• Clothing: Comfortable, athletic clothing that allows for a full range of movement. Layers are recommended as the weather can change.
• Footwear: Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes (like hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers) are required for the approach. We will provide climbing shoes.
• Sun Protection: Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are highly recommended.
• Rain Jacket: Colorado weather can be unpredictable. A light rain jacket is essential.
• Required Forms: A completed Health Form & Activity Waiver. We will email this to you, but we will also have blank forms on-site if you are unable to print it beforehand.
