Jesh Yancy & the High Hopes

Jesh Yancey & The High Hopes roll into Cactus Jack’s Saloon on Friday, December 13 at 8pm with a sound that lands somewhere between soul-soaked folk, gritty rock’n’roll, and late-night front-porch storytelling. Based out of Denver by way of Alabama, Jesh has built a band that can go from tender, lyric-driven ballads to big, swirling, high-energy jams in a heartbeat, all anchored by tight rhythms and guitar work that feels made for Colorado mountain nights.

Expect hooks from their album Screaming Into the Darkness, a few surprises, and plenty of moments that make you forget you were “just stopping in for one beer.” This is a creekside, boots-up, sing-along kind of show—the kind where the High Hopes get louder as the night goes on, and the only thing more dangerous than the groove is the urge to call in “sick” the next morning.
