Fall Hike at Mestaa Mountain Trail

Experience the magic of fall on a guided hike at Mestaa Mountain Trail! This Veterans Exploration Therapy event invites veterans and their families to enjoy a full day outdoors, surrounded by changing leaves, crisp mountain air, and a supportive community.

Our experienced guides will lead you through scenic paths at a comfortable pace, ensuring everyone feels included and safe. This event isn’t just about hiking — it’s about reconnecting with nature, finding peace on the trail, and building resilience together.

Transportation will be provided from Scheitler Recreation Center, so all you need to bring is your sense of adventure and a few essentials!

What Participants Should Bring

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please come prepared with:

• Water: A full water bottle.
• Food: A sack lunch and snacks for the day.
• Footwear: Closed-toe, closed-heel trail runners or hiking boots are required.
• Clothing: Comfortable, weather-appropriate layers for fall temperatures.
• Sun Protection: Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses recommended.
• Health Forms: A completed physical copy of the PR Waiver & Health Form.
