Drum Making Workshop

Join us for an enlightening drum-making workshop led by Ali, practicing Shaman & Teacher, where ancient traditions meet modern creativity. In this unique experience, participants will embark on a shamanic drum journey designed to connect deeply with the spirit of their drum. Through guided meditation, Ali will help each individual tap into the powerful medicine that lies within the drum’s essence, fostering a profound bond between the maker and their instrument. This transformative journey is an invitation to awaken the senses and embrace the rhythms of the natural world.

After establishing this sacred connection, participants will dive into the hands-on process of drum making. Under Ali’s expert guidance, they will learn the art and craft of creating their own drums, selecting materials that resonate with their unique energies. From selecting the frame to choosing the drum skin, each step will be infused with intention and care. This workshop not only empowers participants to create a personalized instrument but also instills a sense of community and shared purpose, celebrating the art of drum making as a sacred ritual that honors the spirit within us all.

ABOUT YOUR HOST

After many years of sobriety, Ali discovered that traditional therapy and Northern medicine were no longer sufficient to heal her from Generational Trauma and past abuses. Her journey for alternative healing paths led her to Shamanic Energy Healing and Crystals, inspiring her to create Awaken Yourself.

Driven by a passion for educating clients on personalized holistic solutions, Ali continuously explores new healing modalities to better serve her community. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, Womb Therapist, Sound Healer, and Practicing Shaman, she specializes in Shamanic Energy Healing. Her mission is to help clients achieve their goals through effective and holistic practices.

Ali’s true gift lies in fostering connection—bringing people together to learn, share, and support one another. In 2023, she embraced a transformative opportunity to bring her vision of Awaken Yourself to life. She opened a storefront featuring multiple healing spaces, creating a nurturing environment to promote community growth and collective healing.
