As the season changes, Painshill’s extraordinary trees provide a glorious display of ever-changing colour🍂
This autumn, we invite you to not only see this spectacle but to hear the fascinating stories of our incredible trees too🌳
Did you know that Henry VIII is likely to have seen our ancient Oak? That our Great Cedar is one of the tallest in Europe? And that our Cork Oak is said to be the oldest in the UK?🌳
Visit Painshill this autumn to hear more about the intriguing history of our trees, to learn why they are so important and to discover how they inspire artists; from our founder Charles Hamilton, to artists working today🌳
Through walks, talks, activities and special events we’ll be celebrating our trees this season and we would love for you to join us!
