Each day has 4 hours of teaching, two workshop levels, with classes for improver/intermediate and advanced, an hour for lunch and short water breaks. Lessons start at 10.30 on both days and all classes at Exminster Victory Hall, Exminster, Exeter, EX6 8DF.
We will provide free tea and coffee if you bring your own mug. Please bring your own lunch and water bottle.
The Saturday ticket - Improver/Intermediate:
You regularly attend Lindy hop classes and are comfortable either leading or following a dance.. You know 6 and 8 count basics and can mix them on the social dance floor comfortably social dancing a whole song in Lindy Hop. You have experience and are familiar with most of the fundamental core moves of Lindy Hop but would like to work on lead and follow frame and technique.
The Sunday Ticket - Advanced:
You understand lead and follow technique, can dance at different tempos and understand musical phrasing. You are confident with all the key moves such a as swing out, Lindy turns, circle, Texas tommy and tandem Charleston etc and are comfortable on the social dance floor with a variety of partners; demonstrating good technique. It is not about how long you have been dancing, but how well you are able to pick up and execute more complicated material.
There will be a Saturday Night dance at SouthernHay Hall Exeter, Dixs Field, Exeter, EX1 1GF 7.30-12 midnight
