DIRTACON – FALL CAMPOUT AND MOTORCYCLE SKILLS TRAINING

Come join Veterans Back 40 Adventure, we’ll be in the woods near Longview, Washington on private property close to the state forest.

This event is for any veteran or active-duty who has an interest dual sport and off-road moto skills. We will have training opportunities along with some single track trail riding available. This event is open to ALL skill levels. However, this is a NOT big bike friendly event (701cc maximum). Non-plated bikes allowed.

We encourage you to ride and camp, but trucks and hitch carriers or small moto trailers are welcome. Each participant needs to bring their own motorcycle along with camping gear and clothing for their two day/one night stay.

Oct 11 - Day 1

All participants need to show up to the host’s property prior to 1200 hours. You’ll be asked to bring your own lunch for the first day. From 1300 to 1700 hours the skills training will be conducted at an off-site location accessible by all motorcycles. Those who are not riding are encouraged to attend the skills training and observe/critique your loved one. At 18:00 there will be a burger/hotdog barbecue provided by VB40. There is a 1 mile woods course on the host’s property for participants to ride at their leisure.

Oct 12 - Day 2

Sunday morning there will be a breakfast provided by VB40. Day 2 of the skills challenge will continue after breakfast with some technical single track riding on private and state land.

Housekeeping notes because this is on private property: Porta Potty will be provided. Drinking water and light snacks will be provided.
NO participant pets will be allowed.

There is limited space for a few small RV’s or Toy Haulers, VB40 MUST be contacted beforehand to gain permission.

This is a family friendly event, family member/partners are encouraged to attend. If a family member/partner is going to be riding they must fill out a separate Eventbrite. The property will be available on Friday evening for those interested in an extra night of camping, VB40 MUST be contacted beforehand to gain permission. VB40 will provide Saturday’s dinner and Sunday’s breakfast only. Participants are responsible for all other meals.
