CAN invites you to the first annual CAN Data & Research Round-Up, an event where CAN and our data and research partners share the results of their work on a wide range of issues relating to community well-being. Data and research tools will be shared during two virtual sessions on October 8, 2025.
The morning session that runs from 10 a.m. to Noon will feature an overview of the “Basic Needs” and “Safety, Justice & Engagement” sections of the CAN Dashboard as well as presentations relating to food access, housing affordability. Ther morning session closes with a presentation by the City of Austin on a new data tool that they have developed called the Community Profile Builder.
The afternoon session that runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. will feature an overview of the “Health” and “Achieving Our Full Potential” section of the CAN Dashboard as well as an overview of community needs based on an analysis of calls to 2-1-1. Additional presentations during the afternoon session relate to early education and community health improvement.
This engagement opportunity is offered free of charge. All sessions will take place via Zoom. You can register for either session or both sessions. Once you register, you will be provided with the login credentials for the respective session(s).
