What you'll be doing:

We all have the power of compassion, children and adults alike. In this project, kids will learn how small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact and then helping hands will decorate paper bags and pack 20+ sack lunches to be delivered to hungry neighbors supported by Wheeler Mission.

When you'll be doing it:

This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!

Donations may be delivered between 9am - 4pm on Friday, October 17th to Wheeler Mission's Shelter for Men in downtown Indianapolis. Address and instructions are provided in your service packet.

How it all works:

Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. The meaning-making:

Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you'll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project's guided discussion focuses on hunger.

Approximate Cost:

$30 for 20 lunches. An exact packing list will be included in service packet. All sack lunch bags should include a pre-wrapped PB&J sandwich like an uncrustable, 3 sides, and drink.
