Join Center of the American Experiment for dessert, coffee and a presentation about the Iron Range’s crucial role in winning the critical minerals race. American Experiment’s Energy Policy Fellow, Sarah Montalbano, will give a stark warning that critical minerals are in short supply, made inaccessible by permitting delays and excessive regulations, and largely controlled by our geopolitical enemies, especially China. Minnesota has a wealth of copper, nickel, and cobalt resources that can help the U.S. win the critical minerals race, but until recently, they’ve been off limits. What should be done?
