Looking to learn a new craft/skill? I will be running two Cyanotype workshops one on Friday 1st August & the other Saturday 18th October 2025. This course is run by myself, and as Im originally from Dingwall have decided to run the classes from within St Clements Church Hall,Dingwall where just recently weran a successful class for volunteers of Mikeysline.
Cyanotype photography is a camera-less technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light and washing with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images.
Join me for an hands-on workshop where you'll discover the enchanting world of Cyanotype photography. This event is perfect for beginners who are eager to learn this unique and captivating photographic process.
During the workshop, I will guide you through the entire process, from preparing the chemicals to exposing and developing your own Cyanotype prints. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with different objects and materials, creating stunning blue and white images.
