Runes?
Runes are an old alphabet used by many cultures from Greenland to Siberia and everywhere in between. You probably know them better as being associated with the Vikings. Each symbol was a letter.

Ok, so how are they “read”?
Over time, each letter was given a word association and that lead to the symbol being given a meaning. If you’re familiar with tarot, it is the exact same thing (just using symbols instead of pictures). Each rune has an associated meaning which, when drawn, gives a message from spirit. The more runes drawn, the clearer the message………….sometimes (we are dealing with spirit after all).

What kind of message? And from what spirit?
Messages, and the spirit giving them, can vary greatly! It could be a higher power, or it could be your great aunt twice removed letting you know about a major event in your future or how to proceed with a current issue. That is the beauty of divination. You never know who has something to tell you.
