About the event

Serving the Sentence - September 9
It's our second to last show of 2025!

We're at Jarvis Square Tavern the second Tuesday of every month with stories that all start with the same first sentence.

Our next show will be on Tuesday, September 9, and all stories will start with "How many fingers am I holding up?" submitted by audience member Cherene Snow. At the end of the show, the audience submits sentences and one is randomly drawn to be the starting sentence for next month's show.

Featuring stories by:
Joanna Buese
Madeline Esterhammer-Fic
Errol McLendon
Willa Taylor
Hosted by Tori Szekeres

No cover, donations collected for the readers via PayPal, Zelle, Venmo and cash.
