Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby is a racing event for Cub Scouts where they build and race small, gravity-powered cars from a kit. Scouts design and customize their cars, which must meet specific rules, such as a weight limit of 5 ounces. The event teaches skills like craftsmanship, engineering, and sportsmanship, and can include local pack races, with winners advancing to district and council championships
