The parade will feature:
Local Organizations: Marching groups and floats representing schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations.
This year's Junetenth event lineup includes:
· Evanston Present and Future Freedom Parade, Award Presentations and Guest Speakers
· “The Cooke Book: The Music of Sam Cooke” A Live Concert featuring Darrian Ford
· Spoken Word Artists and an amazing display of the renowned D9 Strolling & Stepping
· Ayodele all female African Drum & Dance
· Dozens of Artisan Vendors, Food Trucks, a Playzone, Arts & Crafts & Face Painting for the children.
