Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Evanston with the annual Open House, Parade of Lights and City Tree Lighting Ceremony at the corner of 10th & Main Streets! Visit all your favorite shops and restaurants from 5-8 p.m. for shopping fun and special deals. Enjoy the tradition of the city tree lighting with Mayor Williams and Evanston first lady, Celia, at 5:30 p.m. And marvel at all the beautifully decorated floats and vehicles as they travel down and light up Main Street from the U.C. Library at 6 p.m. Parade line-up begins at 5:30 p.m. We're happy to announce the Evanston Civic Chorus will be caroling again this year right before the tree lighting ceremony!
