Discover the beauty and rhythm of modern brush calligraphy! In this hands-on class, students will learn how to transform simple strokes into elegant letter forms and expressive designs. You’ll start by exploring the fundamentals—how to hold and control your brush pen, apply pressure for thick and thin lines, and practice basic strokes that form the foundation of every letter.
As the class progresses, you’ll move into forming both lowercase and uppercase alphabets, connecting letters into words, and developing your own unique calligraphy style. Along the way, you’ll also gain insights into layout, spacing, and how to add flourishes and decorative elements for cards, journals, and art pieces.
By the end of the class, you’ll not only have a beautiful brush lettering project to take home but also the skills and confidence to continue practicing and creating on your own.
